To Your Eternity (Fumetsu no Anata e) is a Japanese anime series based on the manga of the same name. The tale revolves around Fushi, an eternal entity, who assumes various identities and effortlessly employs its inherent powers, such as transforming into a forsaken young boy with white hair and a white wolf. Through the passage of decades and centuries, Fushi continually develops and explores the essence of humanity, gaining knowledge and experience.
There are two seasons of To Your Eternity anime. The anime series, licensed by Crunchyroll began airing in April 2021 and has a total of 40 episodes. The first season is produced by Brain’s Base, while Drive was behind the production of the second season of the anime.
To Your Eternity Season 3 Announced
After the 20th and final episode of To Your Eternity season 2, the official social media accounts of the anime and its website confirmed that the anime is returning for season 3.
The third season is in the works and will adapt the manga’s ‘This World’ arc. The second season of To Your Eternity began airing in October 2022 and ended in March 2023.
The anime has been so popular so far that as soon as the second season ended, the studio has already renewed it for a third season. This is great news for fans. Some other popular anime series that have been renewed are The Eminence in Shadow, Spy x Family, and Bofuri.

To Your Eternity season 2 was announced at the end of the season 1 finale which concluded in August 2021. The second season began streaming in October 2022, implying a one-year gap between the announcement and release.
However, the second season might have required more time because of the change in the animation studio. The first season was produced by Brain’s Base, while the second season was produced by Drive.
The first season of the anime received better reviews as compared to the second season because of its animation quality. This is not a surprise since there has been a massive change in tone, animation and overall visuals between the two seasons since the studio change.

The first season of the anime covered the first 54 chapters of the manga. The second season covered chapters 55-116. That is around Volume 12. There are almost 7 volumes left that can be adapted into season 3.
If you look at the first season, it adapted Volumes 1-7 of the manga. Similarly, the second season used 5 Volumes. Considering that, it is safe to say that there is plenty of source material left that can be adapted into season 3.
Season 3 of To Your Eternity will start from the New World Arc (Present Era). Fushi is now in the present era and meets new friends.

To Your Eternity Season 3 Plot
Anime fans should get ready for a big change this time around. In season 2, we saw Fuushi and his friends at war against Nokkers as they defended Renril City. In volume 13 of the manga, Fuushi entered a long sleep and awakes after almost 600 years in the New World.
Fusshi believes that he has defeated the enemy so he lets go of his connection to the roots. In the new world, technology has progressed, but Nokkers are still lurking beneath the surface.
It turns out that Nokkers are living among humans peacefully. It further confuses Fuushi as he is not sure what to do. However, this peace might be just an illusion, as the battle begins anew.
