Noblesse is one of the most popular and latest manhwa anime series that aired in 2020. Till today fans have eagerly been waiting for another season of the show. Here’s everything to know about Noblesse Season 2.
Noblesse is based on a Naver webtoon of the same name written by Son Je-ho and illustrated by Lee Kwangsu. It got so much popular that it was one of the first manhwas to receive an official English translation.
The webtoon started in December 2007 and posted its last episode in January 2019. Since then, it has been adapted into an aeni, an original net animation, and an anime series in 2020 by Production IG.
Here’s the update regarding season 2 of Noblesse.
Will there be Noblesse Season 2? Canceled or Renewed
Unfortunately, Noblesse season 2 is not confirmed. The show has not been renewed or canceled, and there is no official news regarding renewal from the writer or the production house.
According to rumors, the show is under negotiation and might get a green light in the coming months, but I cannot be certain about it.
The first season of the show ended in December 2020, so there is still very less time, as most anime take almost 2-5 years to make a comeback. So, if the production company agrees, we might get new episodes at the end of this year.
Despite the delay, fans are eagerly waiting for Noblesse Season 2.
I’m gonna miss this crazy bunch

There is plenty of other anime series that are still awaiting renewal like Psychic Princess, Ajin: Demi-Human, and Blue Spring Ride.
Till then, you can read the manhwa and continue the story. You can also read Noblesse Season 1 in Paperback, or you can continue the story from the anime by reading Noblesse Volume 7.
Noblesse Season 2 Release Date
There is no official release date for Noblesse Season 2, as the show is still under negotiation. We are not surprised as announcements of the new season are usually made a few months before the actual release, so there is no news yet.
Crunchyroll has a record of enticing viewers with a single season and attracting more readers before delivering season 2. Either way, if there is any news regarding the new season, it will be updated here.

There are a lot of factors that push for renewals like profits, social media engagement, and source material.
Noblesse Source Material
The source material for any anime series is the manga or the light novel on which the story is based. Original manga and novels are then adapted into anime. Therefore, source material is a critical factor in determining the renewal of the show.
Looking at the source material, there is no problem because Season 1 adapted only Chapters 1 to 92 in the manga. In total there are 544 chapters to date. So, a lot of source material is left that can be adapted into the anime.
Season 1 of Noblesse only introduced us to the Lukedonia arc, leaving multiple arcs untouched. So creators don’t have to worry about the source material for season 2.
As for the popularity, the manhwa is so popular that it only scored an entire anime series, but also two movies. So, that should not be a problem for producers.
Noblesse Ratings and Reviews – Potential for Season 2
Noblesse has a high rating on critics sites like MyAnimeList where it has an audience score of 6.87 with a popularity ranking of #815.
According to critics, it is an enjoyable and fun anime to watch. But some fans who draw a comparison between the anime and the manhwa feel like the story was rushed – which is the case with most WebToon anime.

On IMDB, Noblesse has a rating of 7.0/ 10. Most viewers see the anime as a masterpiece and a must-watch series with badass MC, art, and storyline.
Again viewers feel like the show was a bit fast-paced as compared to the manhwa. But maybe that will change once we get season 2 so the story can continue. Nonetheless, it is enjoyed by fans worldwide.
Watched #noblesse which continues strait after the OVA and is so my kind of anime. Hot bishounen vampires and supernaturals have angst and fight evil. OP characters, cool fights, fun characters, story and dynamics. #anime pic.twitter.com/HaCQLuQqTx
