The first season of the New Game premiered on 4th July 2016, it followed the second season in July 2017. In the middle, we also got an episode of OVA.
New Game Season 3: Canceled or Renewed
Since the end of season 2 in 2017, fans have been wondering if New Game Season 3 is coming out or not.
Even though fans have been making predictions of the next season, there is no official announcement regarding the third season from creators.
Season 3 of the anime has been in demand from fans since the end of season 2 in 2017. Studio Dago Kobo has been resisting the renewal at first because of the lack of manga material.

Three volumes were covered in the 2016 debut season. Season 2 used the other three volumes by 2017. After the anime, writer Shōtarō Tokunō took one year to publish Volume 7.
Till today, 13 Volumes have been published, with the latest one launched in September 2021.
Therefore, it gives plenty of content for season 3 of the anime to cover.

We can only hope that the studio green lights Season 3 and we can enjoy the next season in early 2023.

The anime series has a rating of 7.3 on IMDB with fans describing the show as a great anime with “cute girls working in the video game industry.”
Even though the show is a cute comedy series, it still manages a depth to the story. I highly recommend it if you are a fan of slice of life.

As of today, none of the production companies and studios have made any official announcement about New Game Season 3. There has been a lot of speculation that the show might return in 2021, but there has been no hope.
